Hi,
We got our hatching eggs 19 days ago, and put them in a cool room untill the next day...we then put them into an incubator.
Does anyone know if the 21 days begins when the eggs are actually put in the incubator or when we received them? Also, the Brinsea instructions on the incubator says that we can remove the lid every 6 hours while the chicks are hatching...but I read elsewhere that if we open the incubator at the time of hatching it could harm the chicks
I'm concerned about the humidity because we have to add water twice a day already, and I don't want the humidity to get low during hatching.. but maybe the hatching eggs will contribute to the humidity level...I just don't want to do the wrong thing and harm the chicks
THANK YOU!
Pamm
