I just had a duckling hatch and his little legs are deformed...one wont bend properly and the other is curled and all the toes go in different directions...i dont know what to do with him and he seems really healthy except for his legs...what can i do for him?

Oh wow thats a pretty bad looking foot.Sorry to be bad bearer' of bad new's but I doubt the duck will be able to survive.Im crazy with my bird's and 3 years ago I tried working a parphlegic duck and a baby turkey for a month with no sucess and had to put them both down down:hit. It's so heart breaking I know.I would give it a couple day's see if it show's any improvement.I have had a young duck lose a foot to mud turtle and did well but those are older animal's.Maye somehow it will straighten up a bit.Maybe someone has some answer to help you fix it as I have never had newborn foot problems in my ducklings just the one that damaged in spine we guess at birth.Good luck will pray for your duck. It's beyond my experience, but sending you hugs. If he wasn't hurting I'd say try a day or two of poly-visol without iron to rule out a vitamin deficiency, but it's not really fair if he's suffering.
