I am not very happy so far with kemp Incubators. It is impossible to get assistance when you call. Also the recording tells me to call 1-888-596-6872 for technical help with the incubator. They gave me an e-mail for David Kemp as they said they do not service the products they sell.

I am 10 days into the first test hatch with my brand new King Suro. There is an electrical problem with it. It turns itself off and then back on. If you jiggle the cord going into the incubator it will either turn on or off depending on if it is on or off. You get a blank read out then it turns back on. You don't often know it has turned off until you hear the bell telling you the temp. is bad after it comes back on.

The first time this happend i did not know what the issue was. The second time, about an hour later, I went to check and the readout went blank while I was there then came back on. We checked the wall plug and no issue. But when you move the cord going into the incubator you get a problem.

Monday day 7 was the first incident. We pushed the cord that goes into the incubator and all seemed fine. Then today Wedensday, It has done it 3 times. the last time it must have been off for a few minutes as the temp was down to 92 degrees. You don't know there is an issue until you hear the warning bell. I am afraid that one time it won't come back on and the hatch will be totally ruined.

The warning bell just went off again and the incubator is now below 98 degrees.

I am upset as I have made arrangements to buy a dozen lavender orphington eggs at $60.00 per dozen to pick up May 2nd. I NEED HELP!!! please. Any ideas.

It seems to be an electrial issue inside the cover where the cords go into the incubator.

You won't get any help from them. Try to rewire it if you can or have a friend do it. Throw the piece of junk away and get a LG. With them you can at least get some help from someone.

Yes, it has a short somewhere in the wire. I would bend the wire in different places until you can figure out where the break is. If you can't get any help with the manufacture, then cut the wire and rewire it back together.

Um so what happened? Was it the King Suro's fault (the "piece of junk" that guy told you to throw away), or was it something that you did wrong when you first got your King Suro. It's nice that you got it fixed

One of the wires going into the incubator has an issue. My husband has taped it up. It still has an issue as when we went into lockdown it had another wiring issue. The temp spiked as it was making a noise as though a fan or something was stickin and the high temp alarm went off. My husband jiggled the cord and it stopped.

Most of the time it is fine. After the hatch we will examine why it has the issue.

After talking with Davi Kemp, I think this was a model that was sold as new but refirbished in Korea. The reason: 3 parts that should not have been assembled came assembled. Also the plastic viewing part has some unexplained scratches.

The parts that were already assembled caused some confusion while assembling the incubator The instructions and the videos on the website tell you how to put them together but we did not need to do it as they were already assembled and should not have been.

We have had about 5 or 6 times where it turned off and the low tem alarm sounded and one spike where the temp went over limit.
