Please know that I have sold my primary flock for these, I have some up and coming pullets but sometime in October the flock will be picked up, so there will only be a few more times that the farm will be offering the Speckled Sussex eggs until early Spring. I just got a report that 10 of 12 shipped eggs hatched!!!! Way to go Lazarus (the rooster)..and hens to of course:) and thanks USPS for being kind to them..

This sale is for 12+ Speckled Sussex Hatching eggs - we'll send more than 12 the day of shipping if they are available. We have been so blessed with Speckled Sussex birds that we are priviledged to care for. In addition to being beautiful, these are quite affectionate, with the hens literally coming to me to be petted. They are just a wonderful flock!

The eggs will ship Monday, 9/27/2010.

We are a chemical free farm and farm full-time. See http://thegarryfarm.webs.com/ for more about how we farm and live. We feed our animals with the best feed, sprouted grains, fresh grasses, treats from the garden and loving care. I often say that are animals get more nutritious food and rest than we do! We have a high rooster to hen ratio and am getting great reports and experiencing great hatches as well.

In the price for shipping - it includes selecting the best eggs, packing , handling, priority shipping and also confirmation delivery and driving them to the post office. If you want to have insurance, it will be an additional amount.

When you are ready to order, please just push buy it now. I'll repost for future orders. I'll repost for hatching eggs until the flock is picked up.

We do accept paypal and USPS money orders for preorders as well. Orders may be picked up at the farm with prior notice so we can assure that they are ready for you.

We ship eggs in the same way we would like to receive them. We carefully examine each eggs and select the best for you, bubble wrap each egg separately, putting in a regular box (not an egg carton) which is then cushioned and set in a larger box. These are not the prepaid priority boxes but we use the large boxes that can be ordered through USPS as the standard mailing box. Our mailing costs can often be higher than the prepaid boxes but we find that they arrive in better shape, so it's well worth the extra time, packing materials and shipping costs. Occasionally with a large order, we will use an even larger outside box. Even as carefully as we ship, we cannot guarantee that there will be no breakage in transit. We do not guarantee the percentage of your hatch as the incubators temperature and humidity are very variable. We will provide assistance to you during the hatch and help in every way possible to have the best hatch possible.
