I love this feeling, it is like when you are on the way to the mall and imagining all of the great things you could buy.

I currently have nothing but four rescue cats and three large dogs, two of whom were also rescued. I want to also have chickens, ducks, geese and quail. I would love to have show quality stock that I raise, but that is kind of hard to find these days. I hope to become a well-known breeder.

I've been stalking this forum for a while now, and finally decided to join. Yay me!

Wow, I too would love to become a breeder of chickens, especially bantams. If I only had the property, and didn't have neighbors... What breeds are you interested in breeding? Some of my favorites are sebrights, rosecombs, D'Uccles, Sabelpoots, silkies, and cochins.

I got my first Runners about 9 months ago - And have my first show today!! I cant wait to see how they go!! I also have a duckling hatching this morning... They are just gorgeous ducks- and Im sure once you get them- you will be wondering why you didnt get them sooner. I love my little flock. I have had ducks and geese for 25 years- and wanted Runners for so long.

I also raised geese for many years and have a few quail now....


Good luck with finding and collecting your flocks and gaggles- You are going to love them all.
