I had 4 silkie cochin crosses hatch two days early. They hatched on day 19! Anyways, here are pics of my hatch!!
First of all, here's my incubator! An LG still air. That black thing on the window is a flash light.
My first pip.
More pips and they are getting bigger!
Another pip
Pips getting even bigger!
HUGE pip!
Starting to zip!
Zipping!
Zipping even more!
Then it zips all the way around and HATCHES! Into a beautiful blue silkie cochin cross chick.
Starts to walk around and play football with the other eggs that are hatching
Then we got another one zipping!!
Zipping! and I KNOW I saw that chick pecking at the zip trying to help that chick hatch. It was amazing! It saw the chick zipping and wobbled over to it and started to help it zip!!!
Then the second one hatched into another beautiful blue silkie cross chick!
Then I had to go to sleep because it was really late and the other two eggs hatched!
Inside the incubator! Drying off
And now, they are in the brooder
They are so cute..
And they fall asleep on you..
And they are so fuzzy!!
They have personalities already, too.
And are SO DARN CUTE!
Group photo!
And they love to crawl in my hair and fall asleep. Just like their father- Colonel the rooster!
Here's the egg that didn't hatch. I pipped it and no movement and it's really wet in there. I think it's dead
But, to end on a happy note
