This is for 6+ eggs from my Buff Barred bantam Cochin pen. They have officially been separated for 3 weeks now. I am going to pop some in the bator for me, but would also like to have someone test them. The eggs will be collected after the auction ends, at which time they will have been separated for 4 weeks.
I have a buff barred roo over solid buff hens. What I don't know is whether the buff barred roo carries 1 or 2 copies of the barring gene. If he carries only 1 copy then 50% of the offspring will be barred, but if he carries 2 copies then 100% of the offspring will be barred.
