2 BA, 2 SLW, 2 PR, 3 BO, 3 BL, 4 PR, 2WP...some people post stuff like this when referring to themselves or about their chickens. Some people (me) don't know what in tarnation it means. Is there a spot where the abbreviations are given for different breeds of chickens that I can use as reference? Thanks.

The only breed abbreviation I agree with is RIR. I think just about everyone know that it means rhode Island red. Others are too confusing.

I spent a while the other day trying to figure out OEG or something like that. I still dont know that that means, provided it right. Its almost like trying to learn a new language and at my age (69) thats almost impossible.
I think this comes from so many texting and i dont do that either. I understand people wanting to cut things short while using text on their phone since i think that has something to do how much you are charged.
Just my two cents worth.

Yes, Harley - I agree. It would take, literally, 5 seconds to type "Silver laced wyandottes" instead of SLW. (that's what we have). Now, was that so hard? Ugh
