Well I think the gals are happy and butch is proud. Mr. Jeff is having some strange dreams with the new addition to the yard. So far I think I have the cost/egg down to an amazing $54.00. Not bad in this economy and I dont have to worry about recalls.

I should have taken a picture from under the tarp. Its framed just to prevent that its also a pretty heavy tarp (11oz/square foot) and that sure helps stop pooling in big downpours. I think I need to close the gap around the opening still thinking how I might do that. They seem happy and are ready for a their walk in the evening. I range them about an hour before sunset and its a sight. Ive got a Yorkie, Momma Kat and Jeffery, he's the one snoozing, and they join us. So far everyone is behaving. I'll get a picture for you.

He checks them out and I gotta keep an eye on that guy but so far he hasn't gone for them. I don't let them out without staying with them. He hasn't missed too many meals. This is Momma Kat giving them the evil eye.

Butch loves to take his afternoon name in it and the girls take turns laying in it. One day its in the barrel and the next day in the nesting box.
