We won two eBay auctions on the same day.

One is for my daughter: SQ White Silkies from jmingione

And the other for me: LF Buff Orpingtons from hinkjc

They were both shipped the same day. One from Indiana and the other from Pennsylvania. We had a contest/poll to see who would arrive first. PA won by a day.

Now we are having a 21 day (hopefully) poll/contest on which will hatch first. These will be set today in a Genesis incubator. Which eggs will hatch first, hinkjc Buff Orpingtons from Pennsylvania or jmingione White Silkies from Indiana?

Place your vote today. I will post what I find on candling days. At the end I will post how many of each we have hatch.

Well it looks like the hatch is over. Here is what we have:

The Silkies hatched first, well at least some of them did. Total: 5 white silkies

We have 6 Hinkjc Buff Orpingtons.

Still in the incubator, with sounds of life: 6 Orpington and 1 Silkie. Not a bad hatch for shipped eggs!
