Lockdown and small aircells

I have lockdown today, but I've got a lot of small aircells and I kept the humidity even lower than usual.

Should I lockdown at the same humidity or bring it up some?

I've had too many bad hatches to have another one.

Anyone with any ideas or who has managed to hatch reguardless of this problem?
 
I am hoping someone sees this post and helps give her advice. What humidity do you think she should run for lockdown if her aircells are on the small side?? Hoping for a response.

It was running between 30 and 35% I only had to add water twice.

All of a sudden I have small aircells.

I usually hacth at between 65 and 70%, but don't think it should be that hight this time.
 
I always raise mine when I take the turner out. I some water in tray and add a sponge to hold water better, close up and wait, I add water if it drops below 65.
 
I would certainly try for 45-50% for lockdown. This gives them enough moisture to hatch out ok, but not enough to drown because of the samll sac.

Quite often I get small sacs because I live in a dry climate, so even hitting 45% is a chore for me.
 
So do I but the aircells are so small I don't want them to drown.

Much as it's never worked for me I think I'm going to carton.

Good thing is I at least have some of them already cut, but I'd like to make sure I'm not killing them off this time.

Don't know why I have them, but I do. So wet here lately, but the humidity held and I'm soooo tired of my hatch rate as of late.

Was thinking it was my area, but I've had some 100% hatches here and some 0%, so I guess I'm using this one for science class.

Maybe this is where I learn what work best for this time of year.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
 
I was having trouble getting my humidity up for my bator this weekend. I finally got it up enough to put my eggs in. For days 1-18, humidity should be 60-65%, then 80-85% days 19-21 (for future hatching reference). Keep us posted on how the hatching goes. Wishing you lots of luck and happiness!
