They arrived around 6:30 this morning after a 1.5 day trip in FRIGID weather. We've lost 4/25 so far. BOTH white silkies (very sad), 1 SLW, plus our only RIR. The RIR was doing well, then just went downhill really quickly and died in my hands. White silkies were trampled. The other 2 bantams - grey silkies - are in excellent health it seems. So far everyone else is doing really well. We were going to sell the 6 SLW, but there are 5 left and we're going to keep 1. Also, Ideal screwed up and sent us GLW instead of columbian wyandottes, which is fine, but I kinda still want some columbians!!
Here they are!!
Golden Campine:
Buff Orpington:
Grey Silkies:
EE:
Partridge Cochins (see the size difference - one is huge!!)
Barred Rocks (not doing 100% so far, but seem to be doing better):
EE (got 3 white EE's and 2 chipmunky ones)
Our order was:
1 Golden Campine
1 RIR (gone)
2 partridge cochins (ok)
2 buff orps (ok)
2 columbian wyandottes (replaced w/ 2 golden laced wyandottes - ok)
6 SLW - 1 gone, 5 are doing okay
5 EEs - ok
2 barred rocks
2 grey silkies (must be roos they are very lively LOL)
2 white silkies (trampled and DOA - very sad)
What do you guys think?? I want to get better pics of the SLW and GLW to post...
