These are great layers! Occasionally go broody. Just have too many eggs and incubators are full. These eggs will be shipped on march 2.

Not to horn in, but just wanted to comment on the temperament question. They have awesome temperament. The hens are really affectionate birds and the roosters can be too. The roosters are really protective of their flock and can be aggressive to anyone or anything that does not belong around the flock but if you establish you are in charge they make note and usually leave you alone. There are a few exceptions of course but mine have always been really great with my little boys and I. If you want birds that are not flighty and like your attention, then these are definitely the breed for you. They are awesome layers and meat birds too.

I have not had any problems with temperment in mine. they are always respectful. my 4 year old collects eggs with me and i wont put up with an aggressive roo. Thanks for the comments and looking

i put the eggs in a carton packed with sawdust and then wrap the carton with bubble wrap then pack the box with walmart bags or newspaper to stabalize and absorb knocks. tape it all up good and put it in the mail. lol. I have had good luck with this packing method.
Thanks, Jamie

no bubble wrapping the eggs? I only ask because the few times I have gotten eggs not wrapped in bubble wrap -they were broken/cracked/smashed etc...but if you've had great luck with sawdust I might have to look into packaging this way. Beautiful birds by the way

Hmmm...I would not like eggs shipped this way. I am going to send you a PM and show you a way that is tried and true. I hope you don't mind.
