I have a 6 quart lodge brand porcelain over cast iron bought like 20 years ago.
She paid like 200 back then.
It is kinda like new, no dents or boo boo's red in color.
I do not use as often now.

I made cheddar bread to go with our steaks on the grill tonight. The steaks were delicious and the bread turned out better than I expected.

Strawberry cake
This is not written as a recipe, but rather an IDEA.
There are Strawberry cake recipes in the index.
I had some extra strawberries, and as most know,, strawberries do not carry a long shelf life. So,,,,, before they start going south, I decided to make a strawberry cake.

The dough is a basic yellow cake dough. (eggs, sugar, Oil or Butter, flour, baking powder),, I did make it somewhat stiff. Pushed the strawberry halves into the dough.

Had some streusel left in refrigerator, so on top it went.

40 minutes at 350°F and stick punch came out dry.

Did not wait too long to sample. Still warm.

Individual portion. Mity Tasty. and soft like Angel Food.

Notes: This same cake IDEA can be applied to any number of fruits.
