Up for bids are 2+ BCM and 9+ blue and olive EE eggs. The BCM eggs were collected today, the EE are from the 18th through today. I have 3 EE hens, one is 'mama' and the other 2 are her daughters. I do not have an EE roo though, so I don't know what the chances are of the 2 younger hens' chicks having the blue-egg gene.
My BCM are not the best quality, but they do lay dark eggs. A friend in FL that I sent eggs to says they are a 7-8 on the chart. I have 2 roos and 3 hens. 1 roo is mossy w/feathered shanks, the other is normal coloring w/clean shanks. 2 hens are mossy--1 clean and 1 feather shanked--and the other hen is dark w/feathered shanks.
If I get any eggs tomorrow I'll add these in as well.
These are some of the eggs I set yesterday, there are 2 'blue' EE and 3 'olive' EE on the right with the bantam eggs. The 2 'daughters' just started to lay, so their eggs are not too big yet. One of them seems to be more on the size of a large bantam.
