Wondering if anyone has any leads on hatching eggs for the above breeds? We can only find leads for them in the UK. Want some here in the UNITED STATES!!! lol. Or, if anyone knows what breeds to cross to create them? Any information is great!! Thanks!!
 
Blue Partridge - Contact Sjisty. She sells hatching eggs, and I've even got a very darling pullet I hatched from her.

Blue Buff - We talking Lemon Pyle? (blue or splash on buff columbian) Sjisty also has a few of those.

Buff Laced Silver - Do you mean dun laced, or buff laced AND silver laced?

Blue Columbian is being developed by big medicine, not yet available, but you can work on some yourself by crossing Light Brahmas w/ Blue Partridge.
 
I am interested in blue brahma as well. It seems that good blue brahma are extremely rare in the US???? I love my silver, buff and gold laced brahma! Is there any breeders of blue brahma's out there?

I commented on your facebook page photo of the black laced red chicks, asking how do they differ from gold laced ? Of the two chicks you show I would call one gold laced, and the other looks gold with light edged primaries, no visible lacing.

Now don't get me wrong, I am probably one of the biggest advocates and practitioners of expierimental breeding when it comes to playing around with Brahma colors. But with that, I think comes some responsibilities. Too often people come out with pictures of their new creations, also often only showing a picture or two of chicks. What I want to see are good quality photos of mature birds of both sexes, from multiple angles, giving the viewer some idea of conformation and type, as well as color. There has been a tendency for some folks with an eye for a quick buck to produce some birds that would struggle to be recognized as even poor examples of Brahmas.

So I guess what I am saying is show me what you got. A peer review, if you will. If you got the goods, I will be your biggest supporter.

Right now I have a young flock-I don't believe I'm out to make a quick buck- I've had chickens for years and started with and shown light brahma... Of course which spurred my interest in the gentle giants and great color types available.. I did my research ordered and hatched my own eggs from reputable breeders Greenfire, The Omelette Ranch, Highview Farms, Dan Powell etc.. I don't feel I need to justify my how's..
I'm not trying to CREATE a color to maximize the almighty dollar- I have chickens because I enjoy them.. Like any young chickens some are better than others, standards may be pet or show quality and that takes time as the bird matures to pinpoint-- I won't apologize for showing pictures of juvenile birds I thought were beautiful in their growing haphazard feather phase.. As for being my biggest advocate-? You have a way of showing it-I will gladly continue to share pictures of my birds- I haven't finished my web page quite yet.. So I thought what better way to develop excitement, get to know great people of interest in chickens then through FB social media.. What I find offensive is the attack-like way you have turned something harmless and full of pleasure into something ugly.. And nobody is asking you to purchase eggs or chicks from me in the future- I would never want to dupe anyone or have them be unsatisfied.. Everyone I have ever sold to and or shared chickens with has been a joy and I often stay in touch and continue to share pictures.. I doubt somebody out to make a buck even bothers to remember names or people's numbers.. You might try looking up brahma colors-- the little roo in the picture is possibly a blue laced red- still hard to tell.. All of the websites/breeders cited have wonderful pictures of their mature stock you are welcome to view.. As will I when I get to it.

This is a Highview Farm blue laced red roo- brahma which I anticipate the one in my picture will turn out to be very similar as he is of this breeding stock- I also have a gold laced in one of the pictures .. From what terms I've heard in conversation the gold laced and golden brahmas are two different and I think the black laced red has been used interchangably with the gold lace description.
 
Back to my original point, there are distict differences between the base color of the gold laced color pattern and the base color of the red of blue, black, or splash laced red color pattern. The adult male you pictured is not red either, besides his chest lacing, look at the color of his saddles and primaries. I would bet money he is a descendant of a blue laced buff colored bird I gifted Dan Powell a some years back.

My intent was not to call you out personally, sorry if it came off that way. I may have been a little over zealous after seeing a Craigslist add for what where advertized as silver laced Brahmas that only remotely resembled Brahmas, and even less of a silver laced pattern, shortly before seeing your post. It is difficult seeing something you have put so much work into get so degragated in the span of a few generations. I guess my paterntal instincts kicked in.

Here are some of this years youngsters, splash laced reds, still considerable work to go, not as deep a red, or as clean lacing, as I would like yet, but you get the idea.
