i cant post pics yet so how do i tell if my barred rock is a pullet

Head spot? female is round, roo is irregular
color? female is dark, roo is lighter grey
Leg front? females tend to have black water mark in front of legs, roos don't.
All that said? mistakes are still made every day. There is no 100 percent way at hatch.
However, as the feathers come in, it is obvious. Really obvious. Roos have bright white, large bars, while pullets tend to look black/charcoal with speckles.
