Hello everyone,
I have been lurking on the board for about a month in anticipation of my chicks. I am from North Carolina. This is my first time with chickens on my own. Growing up my family had various bantams. I picked up my 10 chicks Thursday from Shook Poultry. All pullets (they don't sell males at all). Three Barred Rocks, three Red Stars, and 4 Black Stars. So far my favorite personality wise is the Red Stars. They are very responsive. I have them in a 30 gal. storage bin now, however, I am thinking the floor space is too small. On Sunday I plan on setting them up in a wire dog crate.
