i bought 12+ americauna and 8+ silkie eggs from ebay and they should arive on the 5th. i have incubated before but they were from my own flock, never shipped eggs.
im super scaried though, i have a felling that they wont hatch, and that would mean $50 down the drain. i heard it was hard to hatch shipped eggs and its rare to get a 50% hatch rate. please that its not true and tell me your hatch rate on shipped eggs.

1st- 0% (dog got into incubator)
2nd- 50% so far (some are still hatching, its only day19)
3rd- shipped eggs are on the way

i feel sick to my stomach that non will hatch!

i live in central Florida and they are coming from tennesse (smokey Mt.)

I've had anywhere from 0-71% with shipped eggs. I had a 33% hatch rate with shipped peafowl eggs last week.
Lots of good luck & hope you have a great hatch

I've gotten up to 80% on shipped eggs and over 50% on ever set of shipped eggs up until my last batch I got a 0% and it was the most money I spent. I had done so good on shipped I spent a small fortune and got a 0. I think that's what make hatching fun the gamble on getting some fantastic birds from far away.

I have 8 of 12 eggs growing and one week till hatch day with my current shipped eggs and very happy.

I just hatched 13 out of 20 shipped eggs. Today is hatch day, so may still get a few more.

I have had 100% on shipped call ducks, and as few as 1/12 peafowl shipped eggs. Most shipped chicken eggs so far have been minimum 70% hatch.

i ordered 24 chukar eggs 2 were broke two was infertile 1 early death the other 19 hached
