We went in looking for Hay and came out with a baby bunny

(like I need any more). She is a lionhead with harlequin colorings

...... Very calm, cuddly, and playful I just LOVE her. She is only 8wks old and very small. I would like her to act like a show bunny, very calm and sits still, although I don't know if I would like to show her. ( or if I could because of the color? )

I am handling her as much as possible but was wondering.........

1) If there is anything else I could do?What are some activities you do to socialize a rabbit?

Also beacuse of her hair I would like to get her familar with a brush, nail clippers and so on.....
2) When would be the best time to start? Is she too young right now?

3) would she be a orange and black harlequin or what?

4) Is it possible to tell if she has a double or single maned? Or is she too old?

Thanks in advance!!

Ah what a cute little one!! OH man I done that before, you go to get like food or something and than u walk out of the shop with a new pet and go "How did this happen?" than u look at the cute thing again and go "SO CUTE!!!!" LOL

Oh man I remember when I was visiting England and my Bf and I went in a pet store and they had a giant house rabbit o_o; it was a beast . . . I want one so bad now =3= !!!

Start brushing her now. Also work with her so that she will not resist being turned onto her back. Use your hand as support on her back and gently hold her ears to turn her over.

I have been trying to get her used to being on her back......she just wants to explore instead

The Brush I have now is big and more for dogs. It has a wire and softer side. She is just so little I wonder if this will be too rough on her? If so what are some good grooming supplies I could use?

I would just get a comb for her. It works fine on them and her hair is thin enough it will work just fine.

She is not showable both due to her color and her ears. They are too long. She would be DQed for them. They are supposed to have little ears kind of like netherland dwarfs.

She is super cute though, and should make a great pet
