Couldn't resist showing off my newest (plus one of the other new Ameraucana girls, Joey and Coral). My flock is now at 12 plus Quincy the house chicken. I had two bantams, but one of them turned into a roo so I found him and his hen friend a home yesterday. They are now living on a farm about 3 hours from here.
These were the last two gold Ameraucanas at the feed store today. They have been very quiet in the brooder, not eating or drinking, so I've been reading like crazy about lethargic chicks. I thought maybe they were sick or too hot so I brought them out to give them some water and love and now they are doing great. Lol they just don't want to be in the brooder I guess! The second picture is of them looking at BYC with me. They actually want to add to this post I think since they keep walking on and pecking at the the keys
Little Suzanna does have watery, slightly pink poo though so I'm still reading BYC to see what I can find.
