Home Of The Delaware Blue Hen
So the day has come! We have Heather home, safe and sound. She isn't too happy right now in the stall by herself (she hasnt been stalled in a LONG time) But she is doing good!

Here is a pic of her today when we got her home!!!

With all the stuff going on, I didn't get any really good ones, I will take some more tomorrow!!

She has a beautiful head and a kind eye. I'm sure she'll settle down soon.

She'll settle down eventually. We had a mare sever her tendon on a rear leg. It took 8 months of complete stall confinement. She wasn't happy at first, but we made her as comfortable as possible and she adjusted....
 
Aww Thank You!! last night was a little rough, but everything was fine. Things are much better today, I turned her out and she ran up to see all the other horses. Not nearly as much squeeling and yelling. I will keep them separated for a few weeks still, although I am unable to prevent sniffing and things through the fence. yesterday was a lot of yelling and rearing and kicking at each other through the fence. I have all her vet work and her Neg. coggins. The weird part is that the old owner called and said she wasn't going to be present for the delivery of Heather to my house, but that she would come over in the evening. I never heard from her, maybe shewill call today..I haven't paid for her yet!!!
She has really taken a liking to my neighbors arabian gelding!!



Ps...That was one of my Delaware Blue Hens running for her life!!! LOL, she was trying to get back in the yard!!
