Never had a chick with spraddle leg before, but one of my chicks that hatched out this morning has a weird leg issue.

Sorry if the pics colors look funny--I edited them on my laptop and it's hard to tell if they look right.

I have one that looks similar to that, only it's toes are curled under. It is not spraddle leg, as far as I know. You could possibly splint it with a toothpick, or other sturdy device, and see if it straightens out. How old is the chick?

Looks like a deformity. thats not spraddle leg. I would let the chick go for about a week, and if its better than maybe it was just because of the way it was positioned in the egg. If it doesnt get better, keep it as a pet, and never use it to breed. If the chick has problems getting around, or it gets worse, its best to put the chick to sleep.

Ok, we did the pipe cleaner shoe last night, foot is MUCH straighter now!

Leg still sits out to one side a tiny bit, but I think if I had to find him in the litter of 12 it would be difficult.

I had another one with a toe that was rolling under another toe, did the shoe to that one, seems like it might have helped, not sure though.
