If they have riboflavin (B2) deficiency, the toes taped flat should help after a couple of days. Retape the toes flat daily. If chicks have a hard time walking sometimes standing them in a small padded cup for short periods can help. There are other leg issues in chicks that make it hard to walk normally, such as slipped tendon or leg bone deformities such as varus or valgus deformity.
