Oh my so I went to get *one* friend for my bantam and of course came home with two!! These are straight run mutts -- but I love mutts and am happy to add them to the flock! The first I know had a silkie dad and a Ameraucana mom. Look at those green feet!!

Wow that beak and those feet are something else. Do the two get along with the bantam? I ask because, a banty chick at the feed store I noticed was being picking on by some RIRs that had made there way into the banty bin... I ended up buying the little guy even though I had intended on just getting supplies for my expectant hen.

Umbral_Necropolitan -- I now have 6 standards and 2 bantams -- everyone gets along so far! I was surprised to plunk the new ones in the brooder and everyone just looked at them strange and then they all started hopping around together!! Seems ok -- but I'll keep you posted!
