Here are a few picture of my ten gallon tank that I was able to get the other day. I was mostly just playing around with the settings on my camera, but a few of them actually came out ok.

Enjoy!

Two of the cories together. They are quite small yet, only about an inch or so each.

Tuxedo Variatus (Basically a longer variety of platy)

Hi-fin sunset platy (She is very pregnant right now! I'm interested to see if the betta does not eat the babies. I'd like to keep a few for our quite empty tank in the kitchen)

Mr. Betta (Does not yet have a name, but needs one!) He is a beautiful crowntail

Those are some pretty fish you have there! And what great pics! I'm so jealous!

We used to have a whole room that was nothing but fish tanks! We used to breed albino corys, panda corys and fantail guppies. We would take them to a local family owned fish store who would then give us store credit. We were then able to build up our equipment and such with the store credit. It was a great hobby that paid for itself. I sure miss having a tank. We have to many swings in temp where we live now to make it feasible.

Thanks everyone!

I'm not too concerned about the betta eating the babies. I don't have enough room to keep any more platies in this tank, but our kitchen tank is very bare! There are a lot of plants and places for them to hide, so maybe some will escape! So far out of three females, this is the only one to get pregnant. I'm pretty sure I have one male and three females judging from the little fin underneath the bellies! We'll see though. She should have the babies any day now!

Chicks n' horses

I love your tank! That angel fish is a beauty! I love the lighting you have in it too. Right now I just have a cheapy little hood on my tank, but I'd like to upgrade eventually. I would also love to get a larger tank. I thought the ten gallon would be big enough...but of course a tank can never be big enough! One day I'd love to upgrade to a 50 gallon, but I just can't do that here at school.

The ten gallon is still a work in progress. Once the plants get more established, I am going to take out the little barrel decoration. I would also like to get some natural wood and rocks in there and I found a website with an awesome bull skull decoration! The tank will be going in the basement at home for the summer and that area is decorated in western decor. I would love for my tank to match!
