I do still worry about her, but his hen has been putting out the occasional lash egg for nearly a year and a half now. She’s in still frisky and looks comfortable, so she seems in good health - apart from the loss of egg production.Might help to start your own thread. You may get more responses. At this point I just assume she plans to keep on being a pleasant little companion animal and all she really needs from me (all I can offer) is to give her a lower roost when she needs it and to make sure I offer her food she can tolerate.
I put this here because all the lash egg stories I’ve found are those of quick demises (which are heart breaking), and I wonder if anyone else has experienced a different end.
