I think I will bring Some kind of salad, soda, paper plates, cups, and cold water to share. How are we doing the BBQ? Sharing or are we each BYO Meat, I have a small amount of charcoal for cooking.

I hope people are planning to share whatever they bring. I planned on sharing whatever I bring. I have paper plates, forks, and can find some napkins. I will throw in a few bottles of water, too.

I will bring some charcoal, but more is probably better. Hopefully we can use one of the BBQs in the park, but I will toss mine in the truck just in case.

I am bringing an Israeli couscous salad (a pasta salad), and some hot wings. I was going to bring some Caspar's hot dogs, but my Costco doesn't carry them anymore. So, wings it is (and they don't need BBQing).
I updated what people said they would bring in the first post. Hopefully people have been checking that.

Anything you can think of that I may have forgotten, just post it, and I will update.

I can't find my bocce set, but will look again in the morning. I'm too tired tonight.

I will be bringing myself son age 4, and his dad.

Got it on the bio security I will change after collecting eggs and after returning home before visiting the hens.

A knife is often needed, a spatula, fork for the barbie, and some serving spoons. Those things always get left out. I will bring chairs and some of these too.
Is anyone bring a melon?

More peeps! Yay! Nifty is bringing his daughters, so more kids would be nice. I will update the first post!

Good idea on the knife. I hoped people would bring a serving spoon along with whatever they are bringing, but extras are a great idea.
No one said anything about a melon....yet.

The Bay Area CA Chickenstock is now over. It was so nice to put names to the faces! Here are some pics from the day. Hopefully Pamela and Nifty will post pics, too. (Pamela said tonight!)

We had really good food, too, but for some reason I forgot to take pics of it. I think I was having too much fun talking with the peeps!

Next time we'll motor on down to Santa Cruz to visit Hugh! He gets the award for coming the furthest for our little fiesta. Yay, Hugh!

And Yay to everyone for doing whatever you did to make this work!

Hi Stephanie, Nifty and everyone who attended ChickenStock. It was great meeting all you wonderful people today. We must do it again soon, and get more people to come. Thanks for all the great chicken tips.

Stephanie, you need to get your camera repaired....it makes me look fat. LOL, not to mention old.

Stay in touch and come visit soon.

Next year if you guys want to do it at the same place I'll reserve one of the great picnic areas that is 100% shade and way closer to the cars.

With that said, I'm so glad we had a great place to meet with tables and everything. I was almost sure that on a Saturday we wouldn't be able to get a spot.

Again, a huge thanks to Stephanie for making this all happen and to everyone that brought good stuff to share! Looking forward to keeping in touch and doing it again!
