Sex These Splash Orps & Barred EE Chicks(newer pics in post #50)

More pics of the EEs for you. I think that the blues are probably pullets, in spite of the color in their combs. My 9 week old pure BR pullet was really red then, so maybe these take after the BR side of the family. Their body shapes are female and can't see any pointy saddles coming in, even when I part the back feathers. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but look at their brother--he's so obvious!
All these three are the same chick:

Oh my gosh that #2 barred baby is adorable! That blue pullet is pretty and looks like she is all about trouble. Gracie looks like she is gonna be a handful too. hehehehe

I'm still going with pullets on the first 2 barred EE's. Those orps are really pretty. Look little Gracie is getting some little black bits on her collar! I can't believe how fast she has grown!

Glad we're finally at this point, Susan! The dark blue EE pullet and the blue Orp pullet will look so pretty together.
That little EE cockerel was crowing his head off today. Did a dramatic wing flap and everything. He's full of personality, that one. Too bad you can't have a rooster in your neighborhood! The splash cockerel and splash pullet are also spoken for so by next week, I'll have only the extensively barred EE pullet, her brother and my Delaware pullet, Gracie. Just have to find a home for the EE cockerel since Dutch, my BR flock roo, won't share his women with anyone.

I so wish I could take him, Cyn. Maybe someone on here will speak for him? He sure is a cutie! Can't wait to see them all.
