I blame all fellow BYC's for getting me so addicted to chickens that now I'm extending my addiction to hatching

Anyways, I want to get my first incubator and found these 2 on CL for about the same price, except the 1583 is about 2 hours away. I've heard pretty good things about Hova bator on here so I'm thinking that would be a good choice for a first-timer. Does anyone think one is better than the other? Neither of them have turners. The price is $50 for the 1583 and $60 for the 1602.

Was there any details in the adds? The 1583 should be the better incubator, they automatically have a fan, and have the large picture window. The 1602 doesn't automatically come with a fan, but it can be added, did they say if it had one?

ETA: the 1602 is usually around $45-$50 brand new, does that one have a turner or fan in it?

Hmmm...just emailed the seller of the 1602 and it does not include a turner or fan

One of my incubators is a 1583, love the thing! Can't go wrong!
 
The 1602n has a fan I paid 101.00 for mine. I dont have a turner and I want one. I did a trial run and hatched 4 out 5 eggs. 5th was not fertile. It worked good for me. Held temps and humitiy good. even though I had to open to turn. I would recomend for first timer. have fun. check craigslist to. I missed one by not checking it for a couple days my bad.
 
If you can get the 1583 for fifty dollars go for it thats deal. I saw it for 105 at flemings web page. Where you getting yours from? Do they have a web site?
 
It's on craigslist...I've seen 4 or 5 bators from this seller that are all killer deals. The problem is its still 2.5 hours away from me. So I'm trying to figure out if I can have them ship or if I might just drive it

I'm bummed that I missed the RCOM for sale on there a couple of weeks ago...it was about a $400 bator for $250.
