I just set 8 frizzle eggs yesterday, so they're due on the 24th.
I will be getting some Marans eggs in the next week or so. It's going to be an exciting month!
I actually dreamed of fresh hatched chicks last night!! Oh my, I have the bug!
 
Look at that cute little duck!! How precious!! Thank all of you for posting pictures. I sure hope my eggs get here this a.m.
 
Will be filling 2 Hovabators on Saturday 2/6 with EE's some barnyard mixes and hopefully some Ameraucana's (if we can arrange it

). Hatching weekend of 2/27 for my daughters 7th birthday gift. Last year we bought her chicks, this year we're HATCHNG!

Well my eggs are in the bator. Put 8 Buff Orp and 4 Black Orps in this morning. I knew that I would be excited about my first hatch but I never thought that I would be this nervous. I have called my DH every hour (since I'm at work) and asked him to check the temp and make sure that everything is holding where it should be. The last time that I called him he finally said "For the love of god, I will call you if anything changes". This is day 1......how are you supposed to work, sleep, etc. till they hatch. I'll never make it! Thank goodnes for BYC!!!

when I candled on the 2nd, some (4) looked clear, I will leave them until the Feb 5th Candling for verifying.
