I got a call from USPS yesterday at 6 AM saying I had a peeping box with my name on it.
This is what I unpacked when I got home:
8 Buff Orpingtons (Look at that stink eye!)
6 Black Australorps
1 Gold Laced Polish
Somebody didn't want to cooperate... Stink eye shot #2. L0L.
1 Buff Laced Polish
1 Black Minorca (Kinda hard to tell apart from the Australorps. She's got a whiter face though.)
2 White Leghorns (1 was a packing peanut, hopefully a pullet!
)
1 EE
2 Salmon Faverolles
and 4 White Silkie bantams.
My free "mystery chick" was a bantam of some sort, I believe it was a Rose Comb Bantam, but unfortunately he/she did not make it.
We brought the little guy home and it wouldn't eat or drink, we tried feeding him sugar water and electrolytes but nothing seemed to work. He passed overnight. Other than that, there were no DOA babies and everyone is thriving! Way to go MMcM!
After all the excitement everybody was a little worn out, naptime!
