OK are you ready for this???

My nearly one year old girls are glw, blrw, bo, 2 EE, cuckoo maran, wellsummer, Blue Wyandotte & RIR-Beatrice, Emma, Mildred, Gracie, Wilma, Flo and Blanche...in that order

The chicks that are from my first ever hatch are now 5 weeks old- (ok had to buy 4 at the feed store cuz I was sad that my hatch was not good) The feeds store chicks are 2 EEs-Phoebe and Melba, 1 BR - Freida, 1 SLW-rosie, My hatch is 2 sicilian buttercups that were to be Lucy and Ethyl but now look like LUKE and Ethyl, 2 that were supposed to be speckled sussex but breeder screwed up and they now are mixed IDK - Mabeleine and Abby(abby looks like a roo) and lastly the coolest but smallest Barnevelder is Minnie!

So we are now up to speed except the 47 eggs in my bators. Oh lordy completely certifiable. These are the eggs I set this weekend in my new r-com king suro 20, I couldn't fit as many eggs as I would have hoped but it's temp and humidity are RIGHT on- now worries (except the power cord is not snug so i've had to duck tape it to make sure it stays on....la la la la..life is good I keep saying) and I'm using a borrowed nifty-chicken hovabator (love you nifty!!) that have the balance of the eggs. It's fantastically reliable but needs humidity monitoring.

Candling I'm going to wait to day 7 (for sure) maybe day 10...argh don't know if I can do it!

These are the awesome eggs I have from fabulous breeders and most came in FABULOUS condition. But they were shipped from all parts of the country so it will be a good test...

Funny side note... I had to go out of town on biz when all the eggs were to arrive and my fabulous fiancee unpacked each egg carefully put them in the egg cartes I labeled and gently jostled them gently a few times a day till I got home. LOVE HIM!!!

Today I candled and found 4 clear eggs, 1 bantam, 1 OE, 1 Ameracuana, 1 Polish. Cracked them open and none of them had any development at all.

I choose this assortment because I want a colorful basket and a few fun cutie fluffy chickens.

Good luck on your hatch.

And..... here is my list

Barred Rocks
Pekins

I picked those because they are popular and will sell fast. I also have Blue Wheaten Ameraucan roo over wheaten hen, and the same roo with BO's. I have the BR roo and silkie roo in the same pen as the BR hens and white leghorns. In the OG pen (oringal Gangstas) I have a BLRW roo with BSL, RIR, turken, SSH, EE's and I forget.... My chick pen has a mottled cochin, white crested black polish and 3 mixes.
