Drew County Arkansas 4-H Poultry and Livestock Swap!
Folks mark your calendars now for the first Drew County 4-H Poultry and Livestock Swap. There will be $5 donation per seller. Buyers are free. All poultry and animals must abide by the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission rules and regulations. More details will be posted on this thread as they become available. Please reserve this date on your calendars.
Yard sale, crafts etc items are welcome!
Now taking reservations for poultry, livestock, crafts and yard sale booth space. Will be plenty of space, but the early worm gets a reserved spot.
We have listed this swap meet in several national poultry magazines, groups and forums. We are inviting 4-H members from three states to acquire their show stock at our swap meet! So please plan on selling your fall extras here in Monticello, Arkansas!
There will be concessions on hand.
The gates will open at 7:00 AM . . . . . All 4-H Clubbers will be able to purchase birds
beginning at 8:00 AM. Everybody else will begin at 8:30 AM.
A Poultry Showmanship Demonstration will be given at 10:00 AM for all youth.
A sales representative for American Steel Carports and Buildings will be taking orders.
There will be good quality birds available! Your birds are welcome as well!
Many other things are planned during the sale and swap!

Pharaoh Quail
Mosquito Beach Poultry will offer for auction at the October 23 4H poultry swap a young pair of Heritage Rose Comb Rhode Island Reds, bred to the Standard of Perfection, with the proceeds going to the Drew County 4-H Poultry Club. These came from http://www.affgoats.com/home.html and are out of the old Choctaw line.

Buff Wyandotte Bantams, pet quality.
Buff Colombian Wyandotte Bantams, pet quality
Buff Ducks, pet quality, currently laying.
Buckeye cockerel
Buff Duck hatching eggs
Some Buckeye Cockerels
Japanese bantams cockerels
One trio of sop bred (short legged) BTW bantams (cockerel and pullets)
One show quality pair of rose comb RIR
Royal Palm turkeys
A White crested black polish cockerel
One snow pheasant
One chukar
Original chicken art and some chicken gift items (like ceramic cookie jars).
