Morning Everyone!
Hope all are doing great!
Great picture Dave!
My Barnevelder pullet started laying 5 days ago, she has given me 3 eggs. They are like that of a Welsummer pullets first egg and rather pale. It also doesn't help that she had laid all 3 of them in the coop run and when I pick them up I have to wipe them off and it takes the color with it. Yesterday's egg had tiny fine speckles on it that were a shade or 2 darker than the rest of the egg. Will try to get some good photos of them to upload.
Another Greenfire Farms pullet laid her first egg yesterday, lots of nice dark tiny speckles all over it and a couple of my older dark Blue Copper gals have started laying again.
The Welsummers are laying up a storm, I have been collecting eggs for cherylcohen and out of 5 pullets of which 4 are laying they gave me 16 eggs. I am sending 15 to cheryl, the 16th was too light and looked like someone was having a bad egg day.
This is the Wellie egg that isn't going to Cheryl.
These are the eggs that are all packed up and ready to go to Cheryl. Many happy hatching vibes coming your way.
The Barnie's first 3 eggs. They should get darker to almost that of a Welsummer egg, we will see.

Hope all are doing great!
