Ok! Tani was woken up from her nap by little bro who said we have another broody silkie! Lo and behold, we do! So im wondering...do i let her sit, do i break her?
Let her sit (Pros)
Maybe get a laying hen chick or two to make up for the roos from the last hatch
Have another chance to hatch out some show phoenixes (which has been my DREAM for the past 6 months)
Let her sit (Cons)
More birds=more feed=more money.
More birds=less space=Tani and Dad having to build new coop 6 weeks early
More birds=more mess=More work=frazzled Dad

Break her (Pros)
Dad doesnt get mad about more chickens
Less feeding costs
Break her (Cons)
No chance to get those BEAUTIFUL phoenixes i have an eye on.

Haha i sold my Mom and bro on the idea! I told her since i'll be selling most of my silkies in a few weeks anyway, ill have room for BANTAM PHOENIXES! And i have money, and a broody, and a place to put them all...

Yay! I PMed the BYCer with the Phoenixes, should get a reply soon! I am SO excited! If they dont have the bantams, ill try to get some from NoSkiveez, who lives a few hours away.
