I will be checking back in tomorrow to see the pics.....

3 Buff Orps and 7 D'Anvers hatched. I think the remaining 7 Buff Orps are pipped, a BR, a BLRW, an EE and can't recall anymore in that first bator. The NH is still the only pip-ee in bator #2. Have to go to bed, will update tomorrow. Hopefully, there will be a bator-full by morning. Then I'll have to figure put leg bands on the BRs.

Oops, a SLW is pipped, too! G'nite, all.

Morning Report for Day 21:

16 hatched, many more pipped.

So far out of Bator #1 we have 6 Buff Orpingtons, 1 BR, 7 D'Anvers amd 2 BLRWs hatched. Almost all the rest of the eggs in that one have pipped. That includes another BLRW, SLWs, Buff Orps, BRs, EEs. The remaining two D'Anvers are not pipped, so I'm getting worried about those.

Kathy, this BR is sporting a purple leg band---all of your BRs in the other bator are yours and will have hot colors like red, orange, and pink since I don't have that many of just one color.

In Bator #2, we have 1 lone New Hampshire pipped, none hatched. The BBS Rocks, BRs and other NHs will probably come in a wave, but remember that a few of the BBS Rocks didn't appear quite right at last candling.

Glad to see your hatch is going well. I have another week on my turkey eggs. I hate that extra week for turkeys. It seems like it takes forever to get here.

Gosh, I know! I want to do guinea eggs some day soon, most likely by broody hen, and geez, the extra week will be torture!

Some pics--first one is from a blue egg from halo. Kathy, BW Ameraucana, Wheaten, or EE? It's a big baby, larger than the BLRWs that just hatched. *ignore the thermometer--it's two degrees too low, just use the hygrometer on this one*
