The city and some horrible neighbors have said I can't have roosters, and therefore I have to shut down my breeding program on these gorgeous birds. All came from Greenfire stock, but from 3 different breeders Greenfire, Stribling and Bob Ballard) So the girls and the cock are not directly related. They kept this line pure and I've spent a great deal of time culling down to the very best stock. The cock is absolutely huge and really sweet. The ladies love him and I've been getting fertile eggs even though they just started laying 3 weeks ago.

One hen is 6 1/2 months old, 4 hens and the cock are 7 months

I can ship them, but prefer a Northern California pickup

OH Cheryl I know you love these birds so much.

I hope you find home for all of them that will be worthy of the hard work you have done.

They're beautiful

Thanks so much, they are so pretty to look at and my rooster Sir Giles is such a gentleman, a gentle giant

They've been kept in a somewhat shady coop, so they are still so nicely white, not yellowy

I'm freaking out a bit right now. My favorite neighbor (uphill) is having his hillside weedwhacked. The noise is terrible, and right now, they are whacking on the other side of the fence from my broody girls. I hope they don't get too upset.

eta - just as I typed this, the weedwhacker seemed to die. The guy is out there pulling away...
