4 week old and 6 week old chicks lots of pictures and help needed :)

Hi BYC ,

I am interested in seeing what people think these chicks are. I know what some should be but others I don't have a clue same with what sex they are. I would like to find out soon as I am only allowed to keep the hens no roosters. So finding out now will help me find great homes for the roosters, and maybe some of the hens I am not able to keep. Here are just some other chicks I would like to know the sex of but I plan on finding homes for them. They are either mille or bearded just cant see the feet to tell in these pics.







Also If someone could help me... How are you able to tell if they are male or female? Thanks for looking I hope you enjoy the pictures even if you can't help me determine what they are or if they are boys or girls. Thank you so much!!!

all of them look to be pullets, but its extremely hard to tell with silkies, so those i don't know

I hope they are all pullets but I don't think so... they are all strait run except for the polish and silver laced the others should be at least half roosters... Please help!!! I would like to have somewhat of a consensus before I find new homes for the roos

I need to tell you that the 6 week old "mille fleur" is not mille fleur colored. mille fleur is a coloring, not a breed.

Hi I do realize Mille Fleur is a color not a breed but these chicks are from McMurrey and that is what they were labeled as, that is why I have them as Mille Fleur bantams. I also know mille fleur should show white speckling but these don't as well... but this is the closest I have to an accurate breed description. If you would like to make a guess as to what their breeds or sexes are I would appreciate it, thanks.

Can you post a close up picture of the silkies combs?
I don't know much about the others but I keep lots of silkies!

Yes I can post more pictures, that would be great I can really use the help especially with the silkies since they are the ones I am most unsure about. Ill see if I can get more pictures now or if not I will have them up by tomorrow.

Those buff silkies look a little sleepy or something, though.
