Its fine for little chickens. At night I put my 2 RIR chicks in it because they need to be away from my 4 bigger ones. When the others are out free ranging I give them the whole coop. It says, I believe, its good for 2--4 adults. Not a chance. Its waaay too small to stay in all the time.For young chicks old enough to be outside at night its perfect because the nesting box has a door you can close. The "bedroom" has a box for 2 plus another area to perch.
