Oh my goodness! So cute :love What breeds are they?
The dark ones are super blue egg layers, and the yellow ones are blue Easter eggers, all from My Pet Chicken, so they’re basically Easter egger mutts. :D I go for sweetness of personality, hardiness during winter, and certain colors of eggs. I would have gotten marans too, but none were available at the time. Of course, then we went to TSC, and they had buff orpingtons which I love, and they required that we buy four, and then a friend wanted two Black Asian (Which I had never heard of) and gave me two (since she had to buy four.) Now I have 11 chickens including two buff orpington roos instead of the 5 to 7 hens that I originally wanted. A perfect example of chicken math! :gig

You can see them a little bigger with their ”older” feathers in a couple of the next pictures. They ended up being gray (super blue) and white (blue Easter eggers.) The white ones are incredibly friendly and fly up to our shoulders when we go into the run. They‘ve been spoiled with cuddling and treats. The buffs weren’t day olds when we got them, so they aren’t as friendly, but they do still land in our laps and want to be cuddled if we sit in there for a while. The gray ones are a little more wary and are on the lowest end of the pecking order, but one will jump up on our laps once in a while. The darkest one is pretty skittish though.
