A tired hot cocoa! This summer was the hottest in years. RIP cocoa, she died a few weeks later from the heat after all :( Had she survived the summer i was planning to retire her to being a house baby. Her and i were inseperable. I spent many a summer afternoon napping in the shade with her in my lawnchair. As you can see there is minimal feather damage, I keep saddles on winter through early spring breeding to prevent damage to my hens!
