The stairs and deck, also custom and from a free score on craigs list. Not done yet. We still have trim to do around the coop as well as the run to build that will include the underneath of the coop. The rir, br and red sexlinks love all the windows and the space. The coop is 8 ft wide and 12 ft long. 26 cheeps right now until freezer camp opens!!!

Back view of coop. Instead of shingles, we opted for the smoke panels that let in lots of light. So far it hasnt gotten too hot in there. The windows are there for more light. In the book, woods has this wall as solid. We wanted as much light as possible because there is no electric in it. The door is custom, smaller than a regular door and you step down onto the coop floor.

Front has large open window that is screened and a window on each side that is also screened. We do have glass windows to insert into the sides for heavy weather, like hurricanes or snow storms, otherwise they stay open. Note the screening at the top. All of this is for good airflow.
