We reused and repurposed things from the dumpster, our parents sheds/garages, and things neighbors were kind enough to be throwing out :D we purchased screws, hardware cloth, and the paint that was super cheap because it was "OOPS" paint from Home Depot that someone had mixed the wrong color.
