The view south from the coop. That is Balloonjuice Bungalow in the left window. The windows are covered in hardware cloth (1/4") and the shutters open downward.
The rafters where the florescent lights will go. The fixtures come with cool white, but I'm considering if I should put daylight tubes in them.
The (human) entrance to the coop. The box sitting on the lower roost in back contains two florescent light fixtures (2x4' tubes apiece). I have the materials to build the door using 1x6 frame and smart siding.

There are 18 (eighteen) of these roosting areas if that's what they are. Perhaps I could fit a small nesting box inside the frame. To give perspective, the wood is 2x4 and the screen is 1/4" hardware cloth.
Three other nesting boxes. The chicken door at the bottom of the pic needs to be replaced. I have purchased materials to make a new door for both chickens and Balloonjuice.
This is one of four nesting boxes in the coop. It may be obvious, but I replaced the top of the box while cleaning out the coop.
