What I saw when I first opened the box. The eggs had obviously broken quite early in their journey, since the yolks had time to dry into a sort of glue that glued the flaps down--I had to tear the cardboard to get the box open!

Eggs stacked directly on top of eggs beneath; ALL the eggs on top were crushed, and many of the ones beneath were, too.
