The tile was left over from when I floored the motorcycle trailer and much to hubby's chagrin I refused to build a coop without a tiled floor!
The piece of wood that is flipped up for ventilation has its match on the other side, where the access door for cleaning is.
Each hinged lid on the side opens to revewl two nest boxes, making a total of 4.
This back side will be "people access" and coveniently backs up to the woods for easy coop cleaning.

Not bad for my first attempt at coop building.
I got this for free off of Craigslist. It was the end climbing tower of a children's swing set. The perfect start for our first coop.
