Whole coop made with recycled wood except half of deck (made to match 1st part). Had to dig out the dog pen before starting as my girls are rescues coming as soon as this is ready!

Only on the last 2 days to speed it up the fiddly finishing touches before the birds arrived, otherwise it was all me...digging it out in January, starting the build on ice foundation...gonna have to put cement pads under the legs for longer term use...
I started with 15 - 1 year old Rhode Island Reds in March (rescues but laying well) and have since added 5 more rescue birds over the summer. I'm at capacity now so I'm planning on adding 2 more pens to the right side, one coop and one playpen area to rotate the 2 groups through :)
