Love my new rain barrel - this will be so handy!
Talk about the best wedding gift a country girl could ask for! This was built in two days by the father of my Maid of Honour (and long time friend of the family) ... the only things left to do are to build the run, install a window and the rest will be cosmetic improvements. Some of the security concerns will also be dealt with in the coming weeks: locking chicken run door, next box and cleaning door. (We are fortunate not to have many large predators - though we have several birds of prey and racoons. We have yet to see any foxes or coyotes in this area (yet). There are no other wild predators on the island.)
