Fancy chicken is our runt. She has a lot of trouble walking. Until she was about 7 months old her sisters were very nice to her but then they started pecking her. She would hide under this wood, under bushes or in the nest box. They started getting more violent towards her,pulling her feathers out and pecking her in the head so for the last 6 months, she lives in the house with us. We made her a nice condo in a powerwheel box. She lays an egg approx. every other day. She talks to us whenever she feels us nearby. We let her out to walk around and get exercise. We hand feed her, along with providing food and water. I've started putting her in a dog crate in the yard so she can eat grass and get fresh air while being safe from hawks, dogs and her sisters. Favorite foods are banana for breakfast and corn on the cob.
